AN ADAPTIVE LOCAL LINEAR REGRESSION METHOD FOR MOBILE SIGNAL STRENGTH WITH APPLICATION TO RESPONSE SURFACE METHODOLOGY

چکیده

The received signal strength is vital in telecommunication network or technology as it affected by varying environmental factors such temperature (T0C), relative humidity (H%), air quality index (m) and distance from base station (m). In this paper, we seek to find a regression model via circumscribed central composite design that can adequately represent the functional relationship between respective applied response surface methodology with goal obtain settings of these would simultaneously optimize (Long Term Evolution (LTE), Third Generation (3G) second (2G)) technologies. frequently utilized parametric (second-order model), though superior but lack credibility terms misspecification result, optimum setting are miscalculated. addressing pitfall (PRM), introduce flexible adaptive local linear capture trend data, which ordinarily misspecified PRM could not address. application, two models were used results show outperformed counterpart goodness-of-fit statistics, residual plot optimization strength.

a new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

Estimation of harmonic interference parameters of surface-NMR signal using an adaptive method and residual signal power

Surface nuclear magnetic resonance (surface-NMR) method is a well-known tool for determining the water-bearing layers and subsurface resistivity structure. Harmonic interference is an inevitable interference in surface-NMR measurements. Accurate estimation of harmonic interference parameters (i.e., fundamental frequency, phase and amplitude) leads to better retrieval of power-line harmonics and...

An Efficient Adaptive Sequential Methodology for Expensive Response Surface Optimization

The preset response surface methodology (RSM) designs are commonly used in a wide range of process and design optimization applications. Although they offer ease of implementation and good performance, they are not sufficiently adaptive to reduce the required number of experiments and thus are not cost effective for applications with high cost of experimentation. We propose an efficient adaptiv...

Local linear regression for soft-sensor design with application to an industrial deethanizer

Soft-sensors for estimating in real-time important quality variables are a key technology in modern process industry. The successful development of a soft-sensor whose performance does not deteriorate with time and changing process characteristics is troublesome and only seldom achieved in real-world setups. The design of soft-sensors based on local regression models is becoming popular. Simpli...
